GENERAL CONDITIONS
The online shop of animals-jewellery.com was set up by Animals Art Jewellery, that is the owner of this site.
Any orders processed on this site presume that the buyer has read and has accepted these conditions of sale.
So the customer agrees that his acceptance of these conditions does not require any signature. The customer also recognises his right to question any of the said conditions in writing before placing an order.
As a consumer, the customer is protected by certain rights.
The online shope set up & operated by Animals Art Jewellery would like to draw your attention to the following points:

The body of this site is set up & operated in the French language. The customer declares that he is legally entitled to use this site.

Article 1 :
These general conditions are set out and are entirely accepted by the customer, without reserve.

Article 2 :
These general conditions are intended to define the rights and obligations when setting up & operating an online shop.

Article 3 : Contractual documents
The following documents are considered contractual : the General conditions, the Order Form. Should there be any discrepancy then the item on the upper row will be considered the most important.

Article 4 : Order confirmation
The contractual informations will be contained in an email sent, at the latest at delivery, to the email address given at the time of order.

Article 5 : Proof of Transaction
The computerised details of each transaction, memorised in the computer system of animal sites-jewellery. com will be considered as reasonable proof of communication, order & payment between the two parties. The safe keeping of all records is carried out in a secure and safe way.

Article 6 :
All information contained on the animals-jewellery.com website products conforms to Article L 111-1 of the Consumer Code which entitlesthe consumer to as much information as possible concerning any item for sale. The items advertised for sale by animals-jewellery.com website products are strictly available while stocks last.

Article 7 : Price
The prices quoted are in EUROS & valid only on the date of purchase by the consumer. They do not include delivery, or any extra costs which will be shown before Check out. The prices are not subject to VAT . All monies due must be paid during the order. At no time will any monies paid be considered as an account or part payment.

Article 8 : Method of Payment
To pay for his order, the customer has numeroud methods at his disposal during the placing of his order. The customer guarantees the seller that he all rights to use the method of payment eventaully chosen by him during the placemnt of his order. Animals-jewellery.com reserve the right to refuse any order and any delivery where authorisation is refused in the case of bankers card or credit card, or in any case of non-payment. In the case that the item is in the process of being delivered when the bank refuse payment, then the customer guarantees to pay by any means the sum owing in the following 3 days. Animals-jewellery.com reserve the right to refuse delivery or to honour an order in the case of a customer who has a previous order still awaiting payment.

Article 9 : Product availability
The order will be processed within 7 days following the day after the orderwas placed. In the case of non availability of the product from our suppliers, the customer will be informed and will have to opportunity to cancel his order. The customer will in this case have the right to choose between a full refund within 30 days or a replacement article.

Article 10 : Delivery methods
The products will be delivered to the address given by the customer during the order process. The customer is asked to verify the state of the packaging at delivery, and to inform the delivery person of any damage to the package and not after. Also the cutomer must inform Animals-jewellery.com within 7 days. The customer may ask for a bill to be sent to his billing address rather than his delivery address during the order process. We work exclusively with "Collissimo Suivi". As soon as a product is despatched you will receive an email confirming this.

The Post Office :
In order to reduce postage costs, all light or medium packagesare sent by Collissimo Suivi. As well as being more economical, this service is delivered within 48 hours on mainland France and also offers the possibility of collection at a Post Office. If you are not home on the day of delivery your post person will leave a notification which you can bring to your Post Office to collect your package. The package will remain at your disposal for 15 days. Although Collissimo Suivi is extremely reliable there can always be a delay caused by unforeseen problems. Should you encounter a delivery delay we would ask you to contact us by phone or email and we will contact the Post Office to ask them to start an inquiry. This could last up to 21 days and if the package is found during this time it will be sent to your address. If after 21 days it has not been found, it will be considered by the Post Office as officially "lost". It is only after this processthat we will be able to dispatch a replacement, which we will pay for. Should any product be out of stock we will refund the price paid. Should the item have changed in price we will eitherrefund the difference to the customer - if the price is lower - or ask for a cheque from the customer if the price has risen. We decline all responsibilty for any delay in delivery or for any loss of items during the delivery process.

Article 11 : Delivery problems caused by the carrier
Toute anomalie concernant la livraison (avarie, produit manquant par rapport au bon de livraison, colis endommagé, produits cassés…) devra être impérativement indiquée sur le bon de livraison sous forme de "réserves manuscrites", accompagnée de la signature du client et ceci devant le livreur, pas après.
Le consommateur devra parallèlement confirmer cette anomalie en adressant au transporteur dans les deux (2) jours ouvrables suivants la date de livraison un courrier recommandé avec accusé de réception exposant lesdites réclamations. Le consommateur devra transmettre copie de ce courrier par fax ou par simple courrier à : animals-jewellery.com.
Une livraison entièrement conforme à la commande ne pourra pas être refusée au transporteur ou postier par le client, dans un tel cas animals-jewellery.com se réserve le droit de refuser le remboursement, ainsi que d'ajouter les frais itinérant au retour du colis à notre entrepôt.

Article 12 : Returning goods
The customer must inform Animals-jewellery.com the day of delivery or the following day at the latest, of any ereur in delivery or of any problems re quality in comparison to his order. No refund will be given if the delay in informing the seller is more than 2 days. No refund will be given if the delivery form was not signed and any damage or error marked in front of the delivery person.

Any claims not following these rules will be refused and Animals-jewellery.com will not be liable.

Satisfied - or refunded :
You have 7 days following the receipt of your goods to return them to us for a refund. In this case only the cost of the goods will be refunded and not the postage ordelivery charges. All returns should be notified to contact@animals-jewellery.com

Article 13 : Right to change your mind
The customer has 7 days from delivery to return any products which do not suit him/her Should this include a weekend, this period will be prolonged. All returns should be notified to contact@animals-jewellery.com or by telephone: 06 76 32 89 55 or via our site: you should LOG IN using your user name & password & retreive your Order number. The product must be returned to us by Collissimo Recommandé (recorded post) Only products returned in their original packaging and in a saleable condition will be refunded. No damaged goods will be refunded or exchanged. In the case of excersising his right to change his mind, the customerwill have the right to a refund or an exchange. For an exchange the custmer will pay the delivery costs for the new item. Animals-jewellery.com will make every effort to refund the customer within 15 days. If the customer paid by Bank orCredit card, then he willbe refunded in the same way.

Article 14 : Act of God
Neither party will have failed in their contractual responsibilties if they cannot be carried out due to an act of God. Any incident which is out of their control will be considered as such, if they have made every effort to rectify the situation, but are impeded by a situation or act which has nothing to do with them. The injured party will inform the other party within 10 days of the occurrence and and within a months the parties will be in contact to decide how best to rectify the situation. Should this act of God - or unforseen situation last longer that 3 months they shall be considered out of legal control - eg Transport blockades, earthquakes, fires, storms, floods, or lack of or difficulties in telecommunications.

Article 15 : Partial non application of conditions
If one of several of these conditions are not met, for any reason all the others will remain legal in a court of law.

Article 16 : Non renunciation
Should one of the parties renounce one or more of these clauses, this will not be assumed for the future.

Article 17 : The govening law
These articles and this site are governed by French law.
Before any legal solutions are sought, the parties will attempt to solve any problems in a friendly way.
The consumer will contact first and foremost animals-jewellery.com to find an amicable resolution.
